HOW TO PREPARE FOR A REIKI SESSION

Ideally:

  • remove jewellery, especially that is not made of gold, silver or copper

  • wear comfortable, loose clothing

  • perhaps find a quiet spot to receive the reiki, prepare a blanket and choose a playlist (optionally)

REIKI AFTERCARE: WHAT TO DO AFTER REIKI

  • Drink a lot of water. Just like many other healing modalities, you may be detoxing after Reiki and drinking water helps with that

  • Ground yourself. Perhaps place your bare feet on the earth, if you have an opportunity to do so; you may also wish to take a shower to bring yourself back

  • Take it easy. Leave some time between the Reiki session and your next appointments and if possible have a calm day to allow yourself to integrate anything that may have come up in the session

HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER REIKI?

WHAT TO DO DURING THE REIKI SESSION

Reiki works no matter what you are doing during the session. However, you may wish to consciously experience it. To do so I recommend:

  • finding a quiet space where you will be undisturbed for the duration of the Reiki session

  • finding a comfortable posture, e.g. lying down or sitting comfortably, perhaps covering yourself with a blanket

  • relaxing. To help you do this, I will send you playlist suggestions. You can also use your own or no music.

Some people will feel energised, alert and relaxed after a Reiki session. Others may feel sleepy

€80/h of Reiki (you can spend additional time before and afterwards discussing anything that comes up for you, if you like)

BIRTHDAY REIKI

Once a year you can have a free Reiki session with me to celebrate another year of your life.

The Reiki session doesn't have to take place on your birthday itself. You can also gift the reiki session to someone else for their birthday, for free of course.
